Ubuntu Football Club approached Container Rental and Sales to build additional living space for their youth development program which operates in the Deep South.

Ubuntu, which was started by missionaries from America, try and improve the lives of members of the local community. Their aim is to build character and leadership abilities in the next generation of African leaders.

The kids they mentor live on premises and are provided a home, schooling, faith and football coaching. As such, their current facilities had grown to small and they now needed to expand.

We offered Ubuntu a turn key project and provided 120 square meters of additional living space, by use of 4 x 12-meter height cubes

Inside the container we provided a kitchen, and dining area with separate lounge that could be closed off for privacy by way of a sliding door. There is a laundry area and bathrooms to accommodate 8 students and the house master. The students share a common bedroom and the hose master has his own room.

The initial conversion was completed at our yard in Epping and then delivered to site. Once these units had been situated on site, they were joined, and the internal finishing was done.

Container Rental and Sales also put on an IBR roof over the building and connected the units to the existing utilities on site.
